ME TIME.

i need a new project.

right now i guess its reading. i love reading, but its not something i can do all the time.

i still need to finish the twilight series. im on the last book and im loving it, though i wish i could just read the whole thing in one day without inturuptions or having to stop a million times.. i get really into books when i can just do that.
whatev.

im loving project 365.
its great for anyone who loves pictures as much as i do.
i need to do something away from the internet though..
ive been wanting to scrapbook my project 365. i should really start buying things for that.
i also need to start the kids' baby books.

mondays, wednesdays and fridays are my new workout mornings. :] thank god for the child watch.. 3 bucks for an hour and a half of non inturupted workout time.
and barbies my workout buddy. :]

tonight hubbys working the night shift so it sucks.
thank god for no duty days while shore duty though. its a good trade. :]

another plus is that since he was sleeping all day i got to steal COD:WAW away from him! hahaha.
i hadnt tried the online multiplayer till today, because COD still isnt cool like halo.. it still doesnt have a split screen online multiplayer option. only campain. so when i want to play he usually switches it to halo so i can play online too.
anyway, i love it. :]

hubby and i went to akihabara and it was awesome! they have everything electronical you can imagine and more.
we also ate at dennys and wow. the sign outside looked just the same as the states, but once you got inside - so different. it was actually FANCY.
the only thing food wise that was dennys-ish was the BLT and coke.. and yes thats what i ordered. haha.
i have also decided that every resturant needs a button so i can push it whenever i want to bug a waitress and so they dont bug me when i dont want them to.. :)
the best part about that day was when we were headed towards the train station.. it started SNOWING! i wish i would have stopped and enjoyed that more though.. i was kinda nervous about the trains and wanted to get home before rush hour started..

well, time to get the kids in bed.
wish me luck..

reminising

i miss xanga.. and blogging.. and back in the days before myspace when all my friends would yell at eachother when they didnt update..
no one blogs on myspace. its just pictures and quizzes. i want more then that.

i guess wether people will read these things or not, i miss writing and im bringing it back.

life in japan is great. the fact that my husband gets to be home with us all the time instead of on a ship is even greater then the fact that were living comfortably overseas right on the beach.
that is definetly amazing though..

the base here is great and has everything americanized as you can imagine. its like the base in SD, but way wayyy better.
we've got a cute little mazda out here. even though we miss our car thats patiently waiting back in the states for us, its pretty nice filling up your tank for 16 bucks.
small little beater cars are love when being stationed overseas.<3 its like theyre passed down to random friends from random friends everytime someone PCSs.

my kids are amazing. i cant even describe or put in to words how smart, hilarious and sweet they are. theres just so much they do that can make you fall in love over and over again. its so amazing that it hurts!
this month theyre starting their first classes. tayla will start ballet this friday that will be once a week and for 3-4 year olds only. then they have PT for tots which will be mostly for jayden since tay has ballet and hes too young for sports, but both can go. its 2 days a week for kids under 3. its just a little class where they move and dance around with other kids.

speaking of the new year, ive always thought it was overrated and that its just an excuse for people to drink, i do have some resolutions for the first time this year..

1. excersise and tone up.
2. be more patient with the kids. theyre only kids.
3. save money!
4. plan things more often including monthly dinner menus.
5. do a lot of sightseeing.

2008 was a great year. probably the best. we made a great move, a reinlistment [with ship life not included], our family is happy and complete. watching the kids grow has made the year top any others all on its own. 2009 will be more chill, but definetly one that will be worth remembering.

now enough of that, cuz like i said new years is overrated. hopefully ill keep up with updating because, like i said, i miss it.

time to wake hubby up and shower. our day today will be filled with trips to the playground, grocery shopping and video games. hopefully a free movie later on with some drinks with hubby.<3
